Conditioned money beliefs from culture and family may be running your financial story. Get curious about where they came from — and rewrite them.

Where'd you learn that anyway?

mindset workshop Apr 28, 2026

Growing up within a capitalist system guarantees you have conditioned beliefs around money. Throw in family dynamics and a whole host of other influences, and the ideas in your head may not be yours.

Rhetoric can be so repetitive and pervasive that we unconsciously take it on as fact. Do any of these sound familiar?

Money doesn't grow on trees. We can't afford that. We don't talk about money. Rich people are greedy and selfish. You have to work hard to earn every penny.

I’m not interested in blaming anyone for perpetuating these ideas. We all do the best we can with what we know at the time. So how much of what you believe about money did you actually choose?

Are you letting other people’s financial narrative run your story? Do you undervalue your worth and undercharge? Does spending feel shameful? Do unexpected expenses appear just as you are beginning to build a nest egg?

This is how we manifest unconscious narratives that hold us in a place that feels familiar and safe.

What would happen if you got curious about where your money beliefs came from? Not a new spreadsheet or budget but just some curiosity. And can you be curious about where this new knowledge may take you?

If that sounds like something you are ready to look at, join us for Make Peace with Your Money.
