Quarterly Review

As we approach the end of March, now is the time to set aside some time for a quarterly review.

Part of the Profit First process is a quarterly financial review. If your instinct right now is to delete this email and run and hide, is there something you need to look at there?

If you don’t have control of your financial situation, then you will dread even thinking about a quarterly review. Yuck! Sounds soooo corporate. Not a spiritual vibe at all!

However, once you are in control and empowered by your numbers, you will relish these moments! Seriously, you will be excited to see how far you have come and it will give you powerful information to plan your next move.

When looking over your numbers, remember your goals - financial and otherwise. Then ask yourself some questions:

• Are you on track?
• What worked?
• What didn’t work?
• What are your expenses telling you?
• What are your revenues telling you?
• Have there been major shifts in your life or business that you need to consider when setting your next quarterly targets?
