Soil needs to be well tended and nutrient rich before anything is planted. This is why the first module of the course, and the most important module - in my humble opinion, is all about your money narrative.

Set yourself up for success by tending to your mental soil first. But do this with the awareness that you’ll never stop growing your mindset. It will always be a work in progress so allow yourself compassion and grace.

Once the mindset work is underway, you can begin to review your numbers to understand where you are at. You likely intuitively understand what has thrived in your garden before and what you will not bother planting again. Once you know this, you can think about where you want to go. What does your ideal, lush garden look like? Then you set up a plan to reverse engineer that by breaking it down into delicious bite-sized pieces. 

With small, consistent steps, you move toward your perfect garden. Planting the right seeds in the right place, tending to them with water, and pulling the weeds.

It’s the same with your finances once you have implemented a system that you can easily maintain with dedicated time and focus built into your schedule.

Before you know it, you will be doing your quarterly review and harvesting your profits. Then you make some tweaks, adjust your plan based on your current situation, and keep growing toward your goals.
